About Us
The White Bull was taken over by the Bell family on 1st December 2006, after 2 weeks hard cleaning and restocking we re-opened the doors on 15th December.
This is the Bell family’s first venture. Having both worked in the catering trade for a combined total of 31 (!) years we decided it was finally time to do our own thing.
After our son was born we found it very difficult to eat out where we could be casual and the food still be of a high standard.
Kath, having worked for Paul Heathcote in his Longridge restaurant for the last 8 years, runs the front of house while Chris runs the kitchen side of things. Chris has worked for Michael Deane (Belfast), Paul Heathcote (Longridge) and is a Gordon Ramsay scholarship winner (2001).
